School Fundraisers

April 30th, 2024

Over the Big Give week, three schools took on the challenge of raising money for Power of 10. Inspired by our festival, Trinity School ran a clothes swap event using our how-to guides, as well as a cake sale, and distributed the fast fashion Power of 10 fact files to all forms. 1500 people were reached through their efforts and they raised an amazing £82!

Cartmel Priory School organised an event for Earth Day, selling plants and cakes, but also using our ‘Wow I didn’t Know That!’ event boards to run a treasure hunt around the school, raising awareness of ocean conservation and climate change. We were so grateful to receive £155 from their efforts – doubled to £310 by the Big Give!

Keswick School’s non-uniform day this month raised an incredible £425 towards the Big Give -thank you for all involved!

We were so excited to see the events organised by those whose lives have been so deeply touched by Power of 10 that they wanted to give something back to help us support more young people around the country.
