Meet the Team

If all eight billion of us made one uniting positive change, imagine how many problems could be solved. We are never insignificant if we work together.

Our Another Way team works remotely, but we are united by our eagerness to make a difference. We are mainly volunteers, motivated by the impact of our outreach on our planet and on the lives of those we inspire.

Amy

What I do at Another Way

I am the Founder of Another Way and have nurtured this ambitious young charity into life!

A bit about me

I am a marine biologist with a passion for science communication and for empowering everyone to use their voice to make the world a better place. Since founding Another Way when I was 16, I have appeared on international media and given talks to over 7000 people. I am also a Trustee for Cumbria Wildlife Trust, a member of the UN Ocean Decade UK Committee and a Senior Ambassador for the Tree Council. When I am not looking after our team and leading our work, I can be found climbing cliffs, under the sea or going for a dip in a mountain stream.

Why I joined Another Way

All my life I have wanted to make the world a kinder place and to conserve our natural world. I also want to help everyone enjoy and protect nature in their everyday lives and empower all to use their voices. Another Way is how I can bring all of this about.
