If financially possible, sponsor a local charity, or local environmental charity – get in touch to see if there are any other ways in which your business could help them out e.g., get involved by volunteering; advertise the charity to your employees & customers.

If providing a product, see if it’s financially viable to donate a portion of each sale e.g., Molly Lemon (artist) donates a small amount from each sale to charity – remember every small contribution will count towards making a big difference.

Any leftover food waste can be donated to a local charity/ homeless shelter – edible food waste can be distributed via apps such as Too Good to Go, or Olio if there is nowhere local to donate to. Alternatively, the business could form a partnership with local allotment groups/community garden for composting.
