Young people are underrepresented in climate conversations and often feel disconnected from politicians and changemakers. That’s why we are giving young people the opportunity to have their voices heard, and interview the UK’s leading climate experts in our very exciting new Power of 10 podcast!
Launching in September, our climate solutions podcast will be hosted by three of our Power of 10 ambassadors, and will involve conversations with a whole host of guests around what it takes to change the world.
This is going to be the very first climate podcast made by teenagers, for teenagers, and we are so so excited to bring it out into the world to help other young people realise that our voices are powerful, and to inspire and empower everyone to join our Power of 10 movement. In addition, our ambassadors are going to be developing skills around communication, presenting, organisation, building relationships, editing and project management. They have already undergone podcast training with our very own in-house experts, trustee Sara Chandran and Digital Marketing Lead, Olivia Berglund, and we have media training lined up next.
Our first episode will be with our very own Founder, Amy Bray, about youth actionism and why she created Power of 10. You can expect conversations about hypocrisy, guilt, climate emotions and empowerment, with a sprinkling of joy and fun.
