Another Way Ambassadors (AWA) is  run by children for children and it’s free!

Listen to this short video to understand why Amy created it and what it’s all about

WHAT YOU GET FROM AWA

  • Expand your knowledge in all sorts of ways
  • Meet like minded people
  • Make a difference
  • Help the environment
  • Have FUN!

AND FOR TEACHERS

  • Help your pupils do all the above and give them values, a passion and experiences they’ll have for life.

Why should your school find Another Way?

Another Way’s mission is to help communities, including schools, work together to live in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way for the health of ourselves and our planet.

There are easy and fun steps you can take to involve your school, teachers and pupils.

Even the youngest of children have a powerful voice. YOU are valuable members of the community who care passionately about the environment. YOU are never insignificant and YOU are never too small to make a difference. YOU have the power to find Another Way!

Who can be an ambassador?

If you care about our environment and want to make change then anyone can be an Another Way Ambassador, whether seasoned campaigner or interested beginner! Whether you are home-schooled, in primary or secondary school or even at university, and regardless of your own point along your journey, as long as you agree to our values then you are welcome to join our team. Although a lot of our resources are focused towards school, if you are home-schooled, many of these can apply to you too in your own house and community- be creative!

What our Patron says

“Right now it is important to not only listen to scientists, but to think like scientists. With so many on line and social media outlets giving their opinion on the world, it is important that you question what you read, look at the data, ask questions, challenge your perceptions, be prepared to change your mind in the face of new evidence.  Science is about asking the right questions and making decisions based on constantly changing circumstances. It is only when we question what we do that real change actually happens.”  Dr. Alan Jamieson

“Being in our school’s Eco Committee “makes your think more” about what you do with your rubbish.”
Jasmine, Year 6

“Individually, we all have a chance to make the world a better place, but together we are even stronger. Another Way Ambassadors has given me the chance to share my input and be inspired by others from all stages of education!”

Naomi, Year 10

“My child loves Eco committee! I keep getting told off at home if I don’t remember to recycle or buy fruit loose.”
Karen, Parent
